Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We had a lovely Vietnamese cuisine - light and refreshing, with heaps of fresh herbs on the side. They have a great selection and will make an effort to try the rest on the menu."
"Excellent Vietnamese foods! we ordered bun bo, beef pho, and fried tofu, none of them were disappointing! very attentive and welcoming staff as well. the only downside is distance between one table to another was very narrow, so you may not have privacy if you want to have some conversations with your friend on your table"
"Our top 1 restaurant during our one month trip in Bangkok. It beats even all the Thai restaurants we went. We went there like 5 times in a month! Never fail! Strongly recommend the shrimp paste pork! I insisted ordering it then my partner is obsessed with it! It has a unique flavor that you can’t easily find it elsewhere. The spring roll with 150g chicken and avocado is super big and filling. The sauce is so delicious although I’m not a big fan of chicken rolls. I also like the fish with dills, I heard that it’s a well-known national dish. It’s sooo good! The dills are so aromatic! The only thing I don’t like is they deep fried it whereas some Vietnamese would just pan fry. So 4/5. We also tried a few dishes: 1. Rice pancake with the egg and rice rolls (the appetizer section). They are both amazing - it’s our first time tho so hard to say how special it is. 2. Pho Bo: I love the flavour, not too salty and the beef is very tender! Another highlight is that they offer many veggies and herbs that we can barely finish! It’s weird that we went to other branches they are not as good. Only the one in Central Childom is amazing!"
"An Com An Ca is a Vietnamese Restaurant, which locates on lv. 2 of Central Chidlom (on the walkway interconnecting to Central Embassy). Very welcoming and professional servers here. All smiling and willing to help. Authentic Viet food. Many options of Pho and fried food. Veggies lovers should love this place. Excellent food, good presentation. Prices inclusive of VAT and service charge."
"In an upscale food hall, this place is worth returning to. We ate with friends so I didn’t look at the menu. We got a variety of dishes. Fried spring rolls, stuffed steamed rice crepes and the summer rolls (with avocado) were good. Better was the pomelo & shrimp salad with banana cracker and the Smokey yellow cracker with the minced pork/mushrooms (first time I’ve had this). Dessert was a delicious fried banana with coconut and the very rich creme caramel. Total bill was about 2300 THB for four (with multiple bottle of water). Oct 2024."
"An Com An Ca just opened a branch in Chidlom, easy to access by BTS skytrain. Their take on fusion Vietnamese food is exciting – every dish I tried was packed with tasty flavor. Plus, the whole place has such an easygoing vibe, it's ideal for a relaxed lunch or dinner."
"If you’re looking for Vietnamese food with a savory flair and a hint of Thai influence, this restaurant should be on your list. The flavors are bold and familiar to those who enjoy Thai cuisine. One standout dish is the stir-fried cabbage with fish sauce. It’s delightfully flavorful, though on the sweeter side—so if you’re not a fan of sweet dishes, it may not be to your taste. While the prices here lean towards the expensive side, the quality of ingredients and presentation make it worth the splurge. Expect a satisfying meal with a blend of Vietnamese authenticity and a subtle Thai twist."
"This restaurant serves genuinely delicious Vietnamese food. The portion sizes are appropriate for the price, making it great value. The service provided was excellent and very attentive. Highly recommend!"
